Utilize local volunteer resources to provide math intervention and mentorship for students below grade level in high poverty schools and to help them reach their potential while simultaneously reducing teacher workload.
For the 2017–2018 school year, we will be helping students at Dillard Drive Elementary School in Wake County, NC. This is a Title 1 school with 64.7% of its students receiving free or reduced lunch.
We need you! Just 1 hour of your time each week can make a huge difference. Volunteers will work one-on-one with students to strengthen basic math skills and number fluency such as adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing.
